Project scope :

The study aims at assessing operating capacity/traffic volume of existing road facility, examine the causes and effects of traffic congestion and suggest measures to solve traffic congestion at Ramkhamhaeng road and Ramkhamhaeng – Lamsali intersection. Total 10 km long Ramkhamhaeng road includes 2.5 km long 4 traffic lanes, existing 2 traffic lanes flyover which will be widen to 4 traffic lanes flyover, and 6 km long of 2 interchanges total 6 traffic lanes. 

Accomplishments :
  • •  Assist BMA in preparation of planning and congestion reducing strategies, developing geometric improvements to roads and intersections which will improve the efficiency of existing road system include road widening project
  • •  Conduct feasibility study and carry out preliminary design of an intersection which involves addressing the needs of a diverse mix of road user groups, including passenger cars, heavy vehicles of varying classifications, motorcycles, and pedestrians
