Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECI) Project in Wang Chan Valley, Rayong
The project aims to raise the research and development center to technology readiness level. The Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) site locates in Wang Chan Valley - total area over 3,000 rai. The EECi in Wang Chan Valley concentrates on two categories of technology and innovation which are: Aripolis; the center for research and innovation in automation, robotics and intelligent systems. Biopolis; the center for research and innovation in life sciences and biotechnology. The concept of Smart City and Smart Utilities with Minimum Discharge has been taken into account for the design and development of Smart City where promote social and technological innovations and link existing infrastructures. The smart city incorporates new energy, traffic and transport concepts that go easy on the environment.
Services provided include:
Design Phase:
- Conduct traffic surveying and analysis of existing road network
- Conduct topographic survey and soil investigation to assess the physical opportunities and constraints of the project site
- Study and establish the overall smart city framework and architecture
- Design the infrastructure, facilities and systems which are related to the smart city framework e.g. Smart Power Management System and Smart Security System
- Prepare preliminary construction cost estimate and tender documents
- Assist in the tendering process and selection of main construction contractor
Construction Phase:
- Project management and construction supervision
