The first part-Conducting land survey and property survey for determination of boundary lines and adjustment of railway track alignment at 6 locations, for construction of 10 overpasses, 2 underpasses, and 204 rais land expropriation.

Thesecond part–Construction of railway track doubling which is divided into 4 main contracts; the first two contracts are civil work and trackwork for Mapkabao–Klong Khananjitr section and Klong Khananjitr–Jira Road Jucntion section. The third contract is railway tunneling work and the forth contract is design, procurement and installation of signaling and communication systems.

The project works include construction of 40 km. long new at-grade railway track, 82 km. long of new at-grade railway track parallel to existing railway track. Besides that, there is an elevated railway section about 5.7 km., 3 railway tunnels total about 8 km. long, 67 railway bridges, 11 vehicle bridges, 24 u-turn flyover bridges, 3 underpasses, and 89 box culverts underneath railway track. Constructing new train station and upgrading some of those existing stations, totaling 18 stations. Nakorn Ratsrima station is an elevated station and Sri Kew station is constructed on high embankment. Constructing a Train Operation Control Center building and a container yard. Design, procurement and installation of signaling and communication systems for the whole project route.

Conduct land and property survey for land expropriation

Supervise and monitor construction activities performed by the contractor to ensure the contractor fulfills all conditions specified in the contract documents

Regularly review project schedules, analyze and monitor construction progress to determine impacts to schedule

Coordinate construction activities associated with project implementation with SRT’s representatives
